Installationsproblem phpBB2

Hej,

jag använder mig av access och har skapat en domän med namnet
forum, jag använder dbn som följde med zippen. (ms_access_primer.mdb).

On the install page I enter the following info:

MS Access [ODBC ]

Server/Host: Localhost (har även provat att ha denna tom och att ha domännamnet)

database name: (database name: ska man skriva DSN namnet eller databasens faktiska namn här?)

username & password: tomma
prefix: phpbb_
---
admin email: epost@domän.com
domain: http://www.domän.com
port: 80
script: /phpbb2/
admin name: Admin
password: admin!
confirm: admin!

Men när jag klickar på install så blir det följande felmess:

Någon som kan se vad jag gör för fel?

Står så här i manualen ang. database name:

"For ODBC databases you should enter the DSN here"

2.2: MS Access 2000/XP
Before you install phpBB 2.0, you need to create a Data Source Name. The exact way to do this will depend on your hosting provider; if you are unsure you should check with them before proceeding. In general though, you should create a System DSN which points to the location where you have stored an unzipped copy of the ms_access_primer.mdb file ( ms_access_primer.zip can be found in db/schemas/). The name you give this DSN will be used during installation. Do not proceed until this step is complete!

Please note that MS Access support is not designed for busy boards. If you anticipate more than one or two users being online at any given time, you should upgrade to a more robust server solution.

Då har jag gjort rätt ju har satt lösenord på dbn
nu också funkar inte i alla fall.
vad kan då vara fel?

Sorry, ingen erfarenhet av att köra mot accessdatabas... mer än i ASP4... men varför inte skaffa en mysql-server?

Du verkar ju köra på localhost, så då kan du ju kanske göra som du vill... Access kan ju exportera till SQL...
